  7. extensions of the same name using original file names. It can process up to
  8. 2000 records at one time. Original files are erased after the archive is
  9. created. Requires PKZIP.

  11. Lodji Utility Program 1.02 [LUP] (David W. Roscoe, reg. fee: $30) is a
  12. directory and archive viewer, file extractor, and file manager. It displays
  13. the contents of directories and archive files. You can view the contents of
  14. files, in directories, archive files, or subdirectories inside of archive
  15. files. It also supports nested or embedded archives. Other features include
  16. multiple directory viewing, file extraction, and file copying, deletion and
  17. renaming. Requires 400K of disk space, 640K RAM, and an archive program.

  21. viewing and extracting the contents of several archive types. It supports

  23. or LZH style compression ratios.

  108. echo command which allows you to echo to the screen DOS symbols that would

  163. CMDisk 1.0 [CMDISK] (NoVaSoft, ASP; reg. fee: $5-8) is a set of utilities
  164. for duplicating, formatting, and scanning diskettes.

  166. DiskCopy 1.0 [DISKCOPY] (Feico Nater Shareware, ASP; reg. fee: $5) allows
  167. you to copy diskettes without disk-swapping and without formatting the
  168. destination disk.
  169.  
  170. Driv_Man 1.20 [DMAN120] (MicroMetric, ASP; reg. fee: $25) displays usage
  171. data for up to 26 drives, including logical and network drives. It will
  172. display information such as, drive capacity, used and free memory, a graph
  173. of usage for each drive, volume label, etc. The display data may also be
  174. recorded to a file.

  176. FCopy 1.0 [FCOPY_CS] (CompSoft Services, reg. fee: $14) will copy any size
  177. file to disk. If the file is to large to fit on destination disk, the
  178. program will prompt the user for another disk. FCopy can then be used to
  179. reassemble the original file.

  181. FlopTool 1.0 [FLOPTOOL] (Feico Nater, ASP; reg. fee: $15) reads anything
  182. there is on a floppy disk, whether it is a DOS disk or not. The results are
  183. written as a ASCII-file on your hard disk.

  185. FootPrint 1.4 [FOOTPT14] (Jim Olsen, ASP; reg. fee: $26) will monitor drive
  186. activity and report on modified, added and missing files so you can see
  187. what happened to a file, what an install program did, or what software
  188. changed on your PC. It can be useful for removing unused files and
  189. uninstalling programs.

  191. Universal Format 1.02 [OS9FMT] (Wilfried Weigelt, reg. fee: $0) will format
  192. OS9 floppy disks on an MSDOS system. The common OS9 format uses double
  193. density disks with 79 to 80 tracks and 16 sectors per track. The sector
  194. size is 256 bytes. C source code is included.

  196. VGA-Copy-Pro - German 6.0 [VGACOPYG] (Thomas Moenkemeier, reg. fee: $40) is
  197. a German language version of a fast one-pass disk copy and format program.
  198. It will format up to 2.88MB disks including special formats like 1.74MB.
  199. Requires EGA/VGA and mouse. Sound effects can be heard with the use of a
  200. Soundblaster compatible sound card.

  202. Willow Creek Diskette Duplicator 1.0 [WDDUPE] (Willow Creek Software, reg.
  203. fee: $29) duplicates and checks floppy diskettes. It supports 360K, 720K,
  204. 1.2M, and 1.44M diskettes. It can save diskette images on your hard disk
  205. for convenience, and it checks diskettes two ways - BIOS level track by
  206. track verify, and DOS level file scan to insure all files are present,
  207. readable, and correct.

  217. floppy on your hard disk for production diskette copying.

  220. reg. fee: $136) is a disk duplication utility that includes serialization,
  221. bypassing of BIOS for speed, compression of file images, and more. NEW:

  224. (U1-04) Meg 3.2 [MEG32] (Jim Tolliver, reg. fee: $12) displays a pie and
  225. bar chart of total space, free space, spaced used, and percent free for
  226. hard and floppy disks. NEW: mouse support, skips unreadable drives, change
  227. drives by command, reads CD-ROM and remote drives.

  232. Disk-At-A-Glance Lite 1.0 [DAAGLIT] (Steve Leonard, reg. fee: $0-20) will
  233. display a directory tree, complete with number of bytes in use, cumulative
  234. size of directory, and hidden and read only directories.

  236. "D" 4.11 [FOUND411] (Foundation Software, Inc., reg. fee: $15) is a DIR
  237. replacement and other commands. It will list and count files based on a
  238. searchname that allows the use of imbedded pattern matching and multiple
  239. searchname patterns. It can be used to selectively count file sizes. It
  240. searches current, current and subordinate directories, or the entire disk.
  241. Files can be displayed in your choice of five different sort orders. It
  242. works entirely from DOS command line. It supports any display including
  243. LCD. It autoscales itself to lines and columns of your current character
  244. display mode, and the display can be configured to your preferences.

  247. listing, along with file sizes and descriptions, which can be displayed at
  248. the DOS prompt.

  251. is a sorted directory utility which also displays attributes assigned to
  252. each file, current date and time, number of files, disk space usage, and

  273. sorts files of any size, handles various record formats, including fixed
  274. and variable length, dBASE, and comma delimited records. The Sorting keys
  275. can be customized to contain up to 8 fields, each with independent length,
  276. byte ordering, and case sensitivity fields. Up to 8 input files can be used
  277. with a single output file.

  279. ChangeIt 1.1 [CHNGIT11] (James Huckabey, reg. fee: $0) allows you to change
  280. any file date and time without the read-only attribute set. You can change
  281. any system or hidden files, one file, a series or even whole directories.

  284. contain 0 bytes.

  286. ComeBack 3.0 [COMEBACK] (MicroTools Inc, ASP; reg. fee: $25) will recover
  287. up to 1000 files that have been deleted, copied over, or edited. It
  288. consists of a TSR, consuming less than 15k of memory, which keeps track of
  289. recoverable files and a utility for recovering files. The program will
  290. allow you to include or exclude up to 20 file extensions and define a list
  291. of files which will be either excluded or included.

  293. ConvertRFT 1.02 [CVRFT102] (CrossCourt Systems, ASP; reg. fee: $20) will
  294. convert IBM DCA/RFT (Revisable Form Text) files to ASCII. It can drop soft
  295. returns or convert them to hard returns, expand tabs to spaces or retain
  296. them, drop other unwanted spaces, and mark font attributes such as underlining.

  298. File Description Editor 1.0 [FDE100] (Earl R. Davidson, reg. fee: $10) is
  299. an editor for 4DOS style file descriptions of up to 200 characters in
  300. length. It features wordwrap, block edit functions, and mouse support. 4DOS

  334. a database of disk files and search the database to locate a particular
  335. file. It will track free disk space on each disk cataloged, allowing you to
  336. find a disk with enough space to store a particular file.

  338. List Manager 1.0 [LISTMANG] (Moore Software, reg. fee: $5) tracks shareware
  339. files. It creates a text file of four columns with 28 entries, and features
  340. automatic alphabetizing, edit, and delete functions.

  343. keep your floppy disks in order by providing a database listing of your
  344. disks and files. It allows you to search for files and find a floppy disk

  361. macros, a directory tree of each drive can be displayed with a single
  362. keystroke and shows up to six levels of directories.

  385. data in your PC against unauthorized access. Data become totally
